End of season coming up? Planning a reward day, Christmas party or team outing? Astropark’s Sports Team & Youth Group Day Out is built for organised groups of kids and teens who want to do something active, social and genuinely fun together.
Designed for groups from football, GAA, rugby, basketball, scout clubs, youth organizations and EFL groups. Whatever the occasion, two hours at Astropark gives every player a proper day out — not just a kick-about.
More than just a pitch hire: Our sessions are fully supervised by Astropark staff, with activities rotated across multiple zones so no one is standing around waiting. Everyone plays. Everyone has a go.
Built around sport, not sitting in a classroom: Kids and teens who are used to training together respond well to structured activity sessions. Our format channels that energy into friendly competition across games they’ve never tried before alongside the ones they already love.
Works for all ages and ability levels: The Silver package is suitable from age 5, so mixed-age groups or younger squads are well catered for. The Gold package (age 7+) adds Bubble Football and Nerf AstroWars for older groups who want more variety.
All-weather, all year round: Our events run throughout the year, rain or shine—and a little rain often adds to the fun! However, if you would prefer not to proceed due to the weather, rescheduling options are available.
Two great Dublin venues: Coolock and Tallaght, both with excellent facilities and convenient on site parking. Your club or group can be in and playing within minutes of arrival.

Who is the Sports Team & Youth Group Day Out for?
It’s designed for organised groups of kids and teens aged 5 and up. Football clubs, GAA teams, rugby and hockey squads, basketball clubs, scouts, youth clubs, EFL groups and community organisations are all welcome.
What is the minimum group size for the Sports Team & Youth Group Day Out?
The minimum is 25 participants for both packages.
What's the difference between the Gold and Silver packages?
- The Gold package (€22pp, ages 7+) includes more varied activities including Bubble Football and Nerf AstroWars. The Silver package (€20pp, ages 5+) focuses on classic sports day games and is better suited to younger groups or mixed age ranges.
Is food included in the Sports Team & Youth Group Day Out?
Food is an optional add-on at €6 per person. It includes sausages, chicken nuggets, chips and a cordial drink.
What ages are the Sports Team & Youth Group Day Out packages suitable for
The Silver package starts from age 5. The Gold package is recommended for ages 7 and up.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day?
Our events run in all weather conditions, and a bit of rain often adds to the fun. We recommend suitable sportswear or light rain gear if the forecast is uncertain. If you’d prefer not to go ahead, talk to our team about rescheduling options.
Can parents or coaches stay for the session?
Yes. A group leader or supervisor is welcome to stay on-site for the duration of the session.
Is parking available?
Yes! Both our Coolock and Tallaght locations have convenient on site parking. Coolock has ample space and is accessible via M1/M50. Tallaght is near M50 junction 11 with convenient parking.
