Party structure
Our Nerf AstroWars kids birthday parties last 2 hours and include:
- 60 minutes of supervised NERF Wars: kids battle in teams using the best Nerf blasters and foam darts in an arena full of inflatable obstacles, developing strategies and encouraging teamwork.
- 30 minutes in the party room: enjoy hot food (sausages & chicken nuggets with chips and a cordial drink). Feel free to bring a cake!
- 30 minutes of extra football after food: perfect for burning off energy and keeping the fun going.
How the game works
The goal? Outsmart your opponents and have fun doing it!
- Two teams engage in fun battles using top-quality Nerf blasters and foam darts.
- Battle takes place in an arena full of inflatable obstacles for cover and strategy.
- Within each team, kids can develop strategies to defeat their opponents, encouraging partnership and teamwork.
- Parents are welcome to join in the fun as various challenges and games take place such as hostage rescue and last man standing.
- A variety of exciting game modes will be included during the session to keep the action fresh and engaging.
For groups larger than 18 children, the group will be split in two, alternating between NERF Wars and classic team games on a separate pitch. A second party room may also be required.

What happens if it rains on our party day?
Our parties go ahead in all weather – even rain! Here’s how we make sure the fun never stops:

Made for All Conditions – Our venue is designed for outdoor fun, rain or shine. Kids are used to playing football, GAA, and other sports in all sorts of weather, and for many of them, a bit of rain only adds to the adventure!

Come Prepared – If the forecast looks uncertain, we suggest kids bring along rain gear to stay comfortable while they play.

Flexible Rescheduling – If you’d prefer not to go ahead with your party due to the weather, no problem. Just give us 24 hours’ notice and we’ll happily reschedule.
What's the minimum age for NERF Wars?
Perfect for kids aged 6 to 12. The minimum age is 6 years old for safety reasons. Children need to be able to safely handle the Nerf blasters and understand game rules. For older kids and teenagers (age 11+), we also offer Tag Archery at our Coolock location.
Can we bring our own birthday cake?
Absolutely! We encourage you to bring your own birthday cake. We’ll provide plates, napkins, utensils, and candles. Our party room has space for cake service and we can help with the birthday song and photos.
Do you cater for food allergies and dietary requirements?
Yes! We can accommodate most dietary requirements including vegetarian options and common allergies. Please let us know about any specific requirements when booking or at least one week before your party so we can prepare accordingly.
What should the children wear and bring?
Children should wear comfortable clothes suitable for physical activity and weather. Runners/trainers are required – NO football boots, flip-flops or sandals. Remove jewellery, belts, and keys before playing. We provide all NERF blasters, foam darts, and safety equipment.
How do I pay for the party?
You can pay the full amount (€240 minimum) when booking, or secure your party with a €120 deposit and pay the remainder on the day. We accept card payments online and cash/card on the day.
Is there parking available?
Yes! Both our Coolock and Tallaght locations offer free parking. Coolock has ample space and is accessible via M1/M50. Tallaght is near M50 junction 11 with convenient parking. Both locations are accessible by public transport.
