Does Astropark provide coaching?
No. Astropark hires out the pitches and facilities, and your club brings its own coaching staff to run the session. If you’re looking for coached sessions for an individual child rather than a team, a local club or academy is the right place to start.
What ages is winter club training for?
Club rates are available for age groups from 6 to 14 years. Older youth and adult teams can also book, and later evening slots tend to suit them better.
How much does winter pitch hire cost for kids' clubs?
Early evening slots start from €50 per hour and later slots from €55 per hour. Kids’ and youth clubs booking a block of sessions across the season get a reduced rate, so the per-session cost comes down the more weeks you book.
What happens if the weather is bad?
The pitches are all-weather astro turf with floodlighting, so sessions go ahead in rain, wind and frost.
- Made for All Conditions– Our venue is designed for outdoor fun, rain or shine. Kids are used to playing football, GAA, and other sports in all sorts of weather, and for many of them, a bit of rain only adds to the adventure!
- Come Prepared– If the forecast looks uncertain, we suggest kids bring along rain gear to stay comfortable while they play.

Book a midweek slot and you get a free pitch at the weekend. Most clubs keep it in reserve as backup for when a fixture is called off, or use it as an additional session.
Can our club be invoiced?
Yes, we invoice the clubs monthly as our standard practice.
Is there parking and are there changing rooms?
Yes. Both Coolock and Tallaght have free on-site parking, changing rooms and showers.
Are the pitches indoor or outdoor?
All pitches are outdoor, all-weather astro turf with floodlighting. There are no indoor pitches at either venue.
